This is my most poorly documented series. I did not get the chance to photograph the five drawings in this series before it was exhibited and then broken up. It is probably safe to say that none of these photos was taken with the same camera. My artist friend Dan Murdoch and I had gone up to the old gold mining ruins of Victor and Cripple Creek, CO. There we found these huge concrete structures from the smelting plants. We enjoyed a day of sketching and a few weeks later I had combined the gold tilling ruins with archeological findings.
